The Adventures of Periwinkle and Stinky

Periwinkle felt festive as she waited for Stinky's arrival while sitting under the Christmas Tree.  She couldn't wait for him to arrive because she loved the time they got to spend together.

Soon she saw the Teleportation Tunnel start to shake and, with a WOOOSH, Stinky tumbled out and landed right in her paws.  They spent time whisker kissing and paw patting and enjoying the tree and the decorations.   Finally, Stinky asked what the plan was since he was there at night and not during the day like he usually was..  Periwinkle said they were going to see the Christmas lights.  "Great, I was hoping that's what we would do today" said Stinky.

They hopped into Periwinkle's Mom's car and off they went.

"I hope we see all those fun blow-ups like we did last year," said Stinky.  Periwinkle explained that there was a lot of wind for the previous few days and many of the blow-ups were taken down so they might not see as many as they did last year.  As they drove Periwinkle pointed out a blow-up of Rudolph that was down...

They were both sad that they couldn't see Rudolph but Periwinkle said she would keep checking and send him a photo if Rudolph was re-inflated.

They took photos with some of the decorations...

Suddenly, Periwinkle saw Stinky run off.  Of course, she knew EXACTLY what he was going to do...

She rolled her eyes as she said "STINKY, please get down NOW."  Stinky quickly came down and apologized for his behavior.  Periwinkle said, "Don't forget that Santa is watching everything we do, you don't want coal in your stocking, do you?"  Stinky agreed he was impulsive and promised not to do anything naughty.

They soon reached their favorite part of the Christmas lights, the "Christmas street" also called Verbenia drive.   They drove through and took a video...

Both tabbies were happy to see the donation box and Periwinkle reminded Stinky that Santa visits this spot on Christmas Eve.

Back at Periwinkle's house, Stinky was amazed at the packages of gifts that were already at her house.  He asked her if Santa had already come and she explained that these were all gifts for children in foster care that her Mom is the Guardian ad Litem for...

Once again, Stinky could not help himself and jumped up to the Christmas House village...

It was almost time for Stinky to head home.  They enjoyed a snack of holiday Temptations, snuggled and shared whisker kisses and paw pats.

Before Stinky left, Periwinkle wanted to do a fun game of finding their Elf names.  They decided to use their Gotcha months to find their names since neither knew their actual birth dates.

They both giggled at their names.   Periwinkle's name is Joyful Cookies and Stinky's name is Starry Jingle.

With one last whisker kiss, Stinky entered the Teleportation Tunnel, wished Periwinkle and her fursibs and Mom a Merry Christmas and headed home.

What's your Elf name?

Oh I love seeing Christmas lights! My Mom and Dad always drive all around town to see them on Christmas Eve. My Christmas name is "BRIGHT COOKIES" but I'm not sure what a bright cookie would look like.....hahaha Merry Christmas to my two favorite travelers - Stinky and Periwinkle.

Hugs, Teddy

We think those elf names aren’t quite right, but very cute nonetheless. We also think it is so cool when neighborhoods get together to turn their street into a Christmas wonderland. Too bad for the parked cars and garbage receptacles. That is sure a lot of gifts for the foster kids. They are all going to be delighted. Your mom is such a good person for being a GAL. Love to all and Sawyer sends sugar coated whisker kisses and all his love to Noelle.
