Periwinkle paced back and forth in front of the Teleportation Tunnel. She hoped Stinky wouldn't be disappointed with what she had planned for today's Adventure. She didn't have to wait long to find out because the Tunnel started to shake and he soon popped out with a WOOSH into her waiting paws. As always, the two spent time whisker kissing, paw patting, and catching up on the previous week's events.
Periwinkle replied, "Mom and I have noticed a lot of fun cat-themed stories and I thought it might be fun to check out some of them." Stinky agreed that would be fun. Of course, anything he did with Periwinkle was fun.
"The first thing we saw was a story about Hollywood and how they are using cats more and more in different projects. We cats are popular choices due to our agility, expressive faces, and ability to evoke various emotions from audiences. More and more cats are being used now which is pawsome! Stinky, you're so handsome you should probably get an agent!" Stinky giggled but liked knowing that Periwinkle thought he was handsome. Stinky told Periwinkle he didn't want to be a movie star since he wouldn't want to leave her and his family and go to Hollywood. Periwinkle smiled happily at that comment. Periwinkle shared the link to the site she read most of this on so he could share it with his Mom and fursibs.
"That's cool but are we doing anything else today?" he asked. Periwinkle took him by the paw to the dining room where she had the laptop open. "Yes, we got our copy of Purrserverance by Sierra Koester from The Cat Blogosphere and Fur Everywhere and I thought we could read some of it together. I really wanted to read the part about your fursib, Sawyer together."
The two checked out the BookBaby webpage to read more about the book and Periwinkle read this part to Stinky ""Purrseverance" contains 16 accounts of how our feline friends triumphed over life's challenges: from the cat who learned to trust after surviving a hoarding situation, to the cat who conquered a life-threatening illness, to the cats who persisted and eventually found their loving forever homes. Each account is told through the eyes of the cat." "That sure describes my fursib Sawyer," said Stinky. Paw in paw they read Sawyer's story.
They read a few other stories and were touched by how each cat handled their problems. Periwinkle said her Mom was so touched by some of the stories, her eyes leaked a bit. Both tabbies agreed the book was fabulous and a must-have for their friends.
After they read a few chapters, Periwinkle told Stinky she had something else she found and that her fursib Reesie was going to show them. "Mom saw this on the cover of New Yorker magazine and was reminded that we have the same games on her iPad.
"Hey, I think we have that game too," said Stinky. Reesie jumped right up to help show how to play the game on her Mom's phone. We're not sure why YouTube did this as a short and won't let us embed it but click HERE to watch Reesie play on the iPad.
After they played the game for a while they went out back for a snack. Because yesterday was Earth Day, Periwinkle baked some nip cookies for them to enjoy.
After their snack, they spent some time whisker kissing and paw patting and soon it was time for Stinky to head home. With a final whisker kiss and a WOOSH, he headed home. Periwinkle munched on another cookie and read another chapter of Purrserverance.
You know you want your own copy of Purrserverance. You can purchase it in print and ebook from BookBaby, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble. Periwinkle and Stinky give Purrserverence 8 paws up!

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to the kitties and my best to your moms. ♥
I wonder if the kitties are all kitties we know in the CB.
How extra nice that Stinky and you read together!
Periwinkle, you and your mom are so sweet to promote Purrseverance. Some of the stories made our mom get a little weepy as well. We all appreciate Periwinkle coming to help Mom and Dad try to find Sawyer. Stinky always loves visiting and spending time with his sweetie, and Sawyer sends purrs and love to Noelle. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
That was fun sweeties and Purrseverence includes our Angel Brian too. Sawyer's journey was something else.
