Cute guy! Really didn't know that squirrels don't like safflower seed. Here, squirrels generally avoid humans and do not venture into homes.
I haven't found anything yet that squirrels won't eat. Ravenous creatures. But that's a great selfie of one.

Squirrels are so cute.
Safflower seeds are supposed to be the fave of cardinals, but we never saw any when we used that kind of seed. So now we use regular sunflower seeds...among other things, But I guess when the tree rats are hungry enough they will eat whatever is available!
Squirrels are cute and fun to watch, but oh my they are ravenous and rather destructive at imes, second only to coons!
He must be pretty hungry if he eats those seeds.

Dad has never tried feeding the squirrels safflower seeds. The birds get sunflower seeds and the squirrels are happy to steal as many as they can.
