The Adventures of Periwinkle and Stinky

 

Periwinkle was excitedly waiting by the Teleportation Tunnel because she wanted today's Adventure to be super special. As always, she planned things but knew there was no guarantee that things would go smoothly. She waited all morning for the rumble of the Tunnel and the familiar WOOSH, which would announce Stinky's arrival.  Soon, the Teleportation Tunnel began to shake, and with that WOOSH out tumbled Stinky, his fur all poofed from the ride and his eyes sparkling with joy. “PERIWINKLE!” he meowed loudly, and bounced straight into her with a happy pounce! Periwinkle giggled and gave him a big warm whisker kiss. “Whisker kisses for my special ManCat!” she purred. Stinky blushed and then gave Periwinkle a soft, gentle paw pat on her shoulder. She paw patted him back.

Immediately after Stinky's arrival, the Tunnel began to shake again and, with another WOOSH, Sawyer appeared in the tunnel. He landed and looked around with wide eyes. “Okay, what was that? Did I just time travel? Are we still in this dimension? Where am I?” Periwinkle laughed and trotted over. “Hi, Sawyer! You made it!”

Sawyer gave her a slightly puzzled head tilt. “I did? Is this okay?  I don't want to interrupt your Adventure.” 

Periwinkle ran into the other room and returned with two hats and two scarves for the tabbies.  "We're celebrating your birthdays today," she said.

Periwinkle told Sawyer that she wanted the three tabbies and Noelle to celebrate together, even though she knew he would probably have a party at his house too.

Periwinkle and Stinky pulled up the photo they both had on their phones of him when he was just a little guy to show Periwinkle's fursibs.  They all let out a SQUEEE when they saw how cute (and kind of grumpy) he looked. Noelle said she didn't think he looked grumpy at all.  Sawyer took her paw and gave her a whisker kiss to thank her.

Periwinkle and Noelle told Sawyer and Stinky to wait in the family room for a bit so they could get the treats and party food out.

When they returned, Periwinkle said, "We have lots of great noms! Grab a plate and help yourself...

 Cat pizzas...

Tuna sandwiches...

Fish dip...

We have an assortment of nip wines

Of course, we also have Real Live Dead Shrimp.

Cooper Murphy was nice enough to bake a cake AND cupcakes!

I asked the band we had last year to come back to play for us, too."

The tabbies spent time listening to the music and munching on their snacks.

Suddenly, Periwinkle and Noelle realized Sawyer and Stinky were not with them. They looked around and then found them in the living room.  Periwinkle rolled her eyes and said, "Boys, I know it's your birthdays, but you really should NOT be up there."  Both Sawyer and Stinky climbed down right away.  Neither wanted to upset Periwinkle and Noelle after all they did to make the day special.

They watched some cute cat birthday videos, too.

Soon, it was time for Stinky and Sawyer to go home.  They both thanked Periwinkle, her Mom, and her fursibs for the great party.  Stinky and Periwinkle spent some time whisker kissing and paw patting, and so did Sawyer and Noelle.  Noelle snapped a memory photo for them before they left. 

Both couples blew one last whisker kiss and, with a WOOSH, Sawyer and Stinky headed home. Periwinkle and Noelle cleaned up and found sun puddles to nap in and dream about their handsome boyfriends.
