Periwinkle eagerly waited for Stinky's arrival by the Teleportation Tunnel. She knew he would be sad because his brofur Mau left for the Bridge unexpectedly. She hoped Stinky would enjoy what she had planned for them today.
With the familiar WOOSH, Stinky tumbled out of the Teleportation Tunnel. The two ran to each other and burst into tears. Hugging and whisker kissing they held each other tightly and cried into their furs. "Stinky, I am so sorry about Mau. He was a super ManCat and a good friend and Cat Scout" said Periwinkle. "Thanks, Periwinkle" he replied. "Is Allie around? I would like to give her a hug before we go on our Adventure." Periwinkle went to the other room and got Allie. The two hugged and shed more tears. "Allie, Mau loved you so much." "I know and I loved him too. I can't imagine being without him." Both kitties agreed that Mau left a big hole in their hearts.
Periwinkle said it was time for them to start their adventure. Stinky asked what they were up to. "I found a special setting on the Teleportation Tunnel that will let us go back in time. It can only be used for special events and times but I think this is a good one." Always eager for something new, Stinky agreed and the two entered the tunnel.
WOOOSH.....they found themselves at Cat Scouts, four years earlier. "What are we doing here? We're not Cat Scouts" said Stinky. "In honor of Angel Mau and Allie's fourth anniversary on Thursday, I brought us back in time to their wedding." "Cool," said Stinky. Periwinkle explained that they could not be part of the wedding because, like with all time travel, they could not change the events of the past. Stinky was okay with that.
Periwinkle told Stinky the story of Mau and Allie's marriage!
Mau and Allie had been a couple for a while and finally they announced their Engagement!
Allie had a Bachelorette party
Mau had a Bachelor party!
The big day finally arrived!
Raz and Mom walked Allie down the aisle.
Mau and his groomsmen were waiting for her!

Soon it was time to leave. Allie threw the bouquet!

And off they went! They honeymooned at The Gastonian historic inn in Savannah.
"This was so much fun" said Stinky. "I'm glad you enjoyed it" replied Periwinkle. I know we couldn't actually BE in the wedding but I thought you would enjoy experiencing it. The wedding was featured in Mousebreath Magazine. You can read the story HERE.
The tabbies entered the Teleportation Tunnel and set the coordinates for Periwinkle's house in the year 2020 and with a WOOOSH were back!
"Let's have a snack before you need to go" said Periwinkle. Always happy to spend more time together, Stinky agreed and they headed outside.
"I loved Mau and Allie's wedding. I hope someday mine is just as nice" said Periwinkle with a twinkle in her eye. Stinky gulped and blushed and said he knew Periwinkle would make a beautiful bride!
Before he had to leave, Stinky and Periwinkle spent some time hugging, sharing whisker kisses and headbonks, and paw pats. Once again, the tears flowed. Periwinkle wished she could do something to help Stinky but knew that there wasn't anything she could do other than to be there for him.
One more whisker kiss and it was time for Stinky to go. With tears in his eyes, he got into the tunnel and WOOSH and he left. Periwinkle thought about their day and wondered what HER wedding might be like. On the way home, Stinky was thinking the same thing. He sure was crazy about her and he knew she was crazy about him too.
