Thankful Thursday - an award!

It's been a really long time since we got a blogging award and we were surprised and pleased to recieve the One Lovely Blog Award from our pal Sammy at One Spoiled Cat.  We received this one a couple of years ago but we know we have a lot of new friends so we're going to post it again since there are probably things you DON'T know about us!

The rules of acceptance are:

Facts about us

1.  Ellie has started sleeping on Dad's pillow.  At first, she pushed him off and got the whole pillow for herself.   Now they've come up with a truce.  This all started with Dad's radiation and we think maybe his scent is different.

2.  Allie loves to machine paw things...doors, cabinets, walls.  Usually in the middle of the night.

3. Raz loves to make biscuits in Mom's neck and purr until he falls asleep.  Mom loves that...except the time he drooled in her mouth!

4.  Raz is the Dean of Students at Cat Scouts University.

5.  Mom is a slacker so involved in things, we often don't have time to visit all of our pals and comment.  We DO read through our reader.

6.  Our "official" names are not Raz,, Ellie and Allie...they are Razputin, Zorelda and Zoralda.

7. Ellie and Allie like people food (especially butter)  Raz...not so much.

ManCat Monday

Today we're featuring a special ManCat friend and his special Tuesday Teaser posts.

Do you know our pal Sammy from One Spoiled Cat?  Every Tuesday he does a Teaser photo.  His posts come up at various times and it's always a fun event.  To our surprise, we were the first guesser AND we got it right last week.  We won this super pawsome badge to display on our blog!

Check out Sammy's blog HERE.  He's a really cool guy with extra toes and he's a good friend of ours.  Sammy is the head of our Worldwide Wildcats Troop and Raz's Assistant Patrol Leader at Cat Scouts. He's a Lion Scout too!!

We're also remembering our sweet Angel Clifford today.  He left us one year ago today. We sure miss him a lot.

Thursday Teaser....

Well, actually, it was a Tuesday Teaser.  Our pal Sammy from One Spoiled Cat does Tuesday Teasers every week.  We're pretty bad at it (think Find Chey Friday).  The first right guesser gets a pawsome badge to put on their blog.  We've gotten the "I didn't guess right but Sammy loves me anyway" badge (lots of times) but this week was different!

and guess what?  WE GOT IT!!!  AND....we were first.  Of course we did have an advantage since Mom gets up at 3:10 am on Tuesdays and Sammy's blog posts at 6am!!

It's Wake Island.  Here's some info from Wikipedia:

Wake Island (/ˈweɪk/; also known as Wake Atoll) is a coral atoll with a coastline of 12 miles (19 km) just north of the Marshall Islands. It is an unorganized, unincorporated territory of the United States, administered by the Office of Insular Affairs, U.S. Department of the Interior. There are about 150 people living on its 2.85 square miles. Access to the island is restricted, and all activities on the island are managed by the United States Air Force. There is also a missile facility operated by the United States Army. The largest island, Wake Island, is the center of activity on the atoll and is the location of Wake Island Airfield (IATA: AWK, ICAO: PWAK), which has a 9,800-foot (3,000 m) runway.

Thankful Thursday and Spring Fling

Raz will go first

1.  Madi and  I met through the wonderful services of Easy and Franks Matchmaking Booth!
2.  All of our dates have been pawsome but I guess the best would be the Queen of Hearts Ball since Madi was the hostess!  We had a fabulous time and really got to know each other a lot better.
3.  Our first date was the Super Bowl party at the Tabby Cat Club.  We had lots of fun...we didn't care who won or lost the game.
4.  Worst date?   NONE!  Every date has been purrfect
5.  Most enjoyable date.  I think that would be our trip to Venice.  We had a lot of alone time where we could stroll paw in paw through the streets and enjoy a nice gelato together.  You can read all about it HERE.


Next up is Allie

1.  Mauricio and I met when he visited our blog.  We commented on each others blogs for a while and Mau was quite attentive and flirtatious!
2.  Our best date would absolutely have to be the Queen of Hearts Ball.  Mau looked so handsome in his tuxedo and we danced the night away.  Every moment was special
3.  Our first dates were sort of unofficial dates.  Mau and I are both Cat Scouts and spent a lot of time together at the Campfire.  When the Patrols formed, we spent quality time together in the Wolverines Den too.
4. Worst date?   We've never had a bad date....I hope we never will.
5.  Most enjoyable date.  The Queen of Hearts Ball and the time we spent getting ready for it and riding in the limo with Madi and Raz and Gracie and Tubby.  It was a magical night.  We also had a pawsome time on Sammy's trip to the Moon.  It was Out of This World!!

Having a special friend is so wonderful.  Raz and Allie are both very thankful to have found such great and special ones.

Raz is also thankful to our pal Sammy from One Spoiled Cat.  Raz won a prize package.  Of course, we couldn't open it until Mom could do a photo op......

Fly me to the Moon

Boy are we excited!!  Our pal Sammy is taking us on a trip to the MOON!!!!
