Come Laugh With Us

Today is our  special Blog Hop for Madi Come Laugh With Us.  You can post anything you want to do with a Box...such as stand up comedy, a joke or pun, Recite a poem...karaoke, just a picture with a box, etc...anything goes no rules except RED!

There will be a link set up at Living Laughing and Barking in our Backyard so Madi's Mom and Dad can see all your wonderful posts.

Since Madi loved RED and BOXES I am doing my post from inside a RED BOX!

This was the photo we were sent to show our matchup for the Queen of Hearts Ball.

National Lighthouse Day Blog Hop

Raz's gal Madi shared this cool badge and the info about this special day.

Rosy, Arty and Jakey's mama made this gorgeous badge.
Please feel free to copy it for your blog.
you may join the blog hop on August 7th by clicking HERE

It was on this day in 1789, that Congress approved an Act for the establishment and support of lighthouse, beacons, buoys and public piers. In Celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the signing of the Act and the commissioning of the first Federal lighthouse, Congress passed a resolution which designated August 7, 1989 as National Lighthouse Day.  Read all about it here

Mom and Mama Beth are huge fans of Lighthouses.  Needless to say they were delighted when
they read about this special day.
We'd like to invite everyone to join us and Rosy and Arty and Jakey in a Blog Hope celebrating lighthouses.
All you have to do it tell us about your favorite lighthouses, beacon, buoys or piers.
Lighthouses can be found on rivers and sounds just like this one

We hopped (pun intended!) on this idea so we could share this fabulous photo our Dad took of the lighthouse at Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia.

It was pretty amazing that Dad got this photo with NOBODY in it.  It was a cold and windy day and very few people were there.  Mom had it blown up and framed for him that year for Christmas.  It's in our dining room.  Dad was a pawsome photographer.

Raz's gal Madi's Mom made this super collage and we wanted to share it with you.

Graphic by Madi's Mom

In Flanders Fields
John McCrae, 1915.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Memorial Day is also the "unofficial" start of the Summer!!!  Together with our pals Gracie and Sammy, we are hosting a Memorial Day Cookout!!
If you're here in time for breakfast, please enjoy this bacon and egg casserole!
and some French Toast with tasty mouse sausage!
If you're thirsty, enjoy a cold beverage...
We have lots of great noms....hot dogs, burgers and chick-hen!
Come join us at the picnic table....
Make sure you wait a bit after you eat, but join us in the pool....the water is FINE!!!
Please stop by Gracie's blog and Sammy's blog.....the party continues there.  Raz and Pete's famous fish fry truck is even at Sammy's!!

(In) Trooder Tuesday

As some of you know, I've posted before about the Introoder who visits MY yard. Her name is Snickers and she lives next door.

The other day Mom say me doing THIS......

She looked outside and this is what she saw by our pool.....

Please ignore the mess in the background....that's the remnants of our Bird of Paradise tree that we just had cut down....

Anyway............... a little later she saw me looking out again.  There was a ton of stuff on our porch because the man was coming to power wash our deck.   Look closely under the chair........

I think she's stalking me!!!!!   Doesn't she know my heart belongs to Madi????

ManCat Monday

We had a fun event at the Wildcats place at Cat Scouts this weekend.  We went to the drive-in!  We had a blast.  I brought my best gal Madi and we really enjoyed the movie and getting to hang out with our Scout pals.

Here we in the car I picked out.  I let Madi drive and boy is she a good (and fast) driver!  You can see
from the expression on her face that she's really having fun!!

Notice my license plate!!

Madi drove so fast we were the first ones there!!

After a fun night like that, I need a nap!!  We had so much fun, we're going to do another movie night at the Tabby Cat Club soon!!!

Allie and Mauicio had a super duper time at the drive-in too.  Isn't Mau's Tuximobile pawsome????

If you're a Cat Scout (or would like to be) check out the new and improved site.  There are still tweaks that the Denmaster has to finish up but things are 100% faster! Click HERE to teleport over.

Have a great ManCat Monday!!

Thankful Thursday and Spring Fling

We will tell About any or all of the below
1. How we met our significant other
2. Best date
3. First date
4. Worst date
5. Most enjoyable date, etc etc etc

Raz will go first

1.  Madi and  I met through the wonderful services of Easy and Franks Matchmaking Booth!
2.  All of our dates have been pawsome but I guess the best would be the Queen of Hearts Ball since Madi was the hostess!  We had a fabulous time and really got to know each other a lot better.
3.  Our first date was the Super Bowl party at the Tabby Cat Club.  We had lots of fun...we didn't care who won or lost the game.
4.  Worst date?   NONE!  Every date has been purrfect
5.  Most enjoyable date.  I think that would be our trip to Venice.  We had a lot of alone time where we could stroll paw in paw through the streets and enjoy a nice gelato together.  You can read all about it HERE.

Next up is Allie

1.  Mauricio and I met when he visited our blog.  We commented on each others blogs for a while and Mau was quite attentive and flirtatious!
2.  Our best date would absolutely have to be the Queen of Hearts Ball.  Mau looked so handsome in his tuxedo and we danced the night away.  Every moment was special
3.  Our first dates were sort of unofficial dates.  Mau and I are both Cat Scouts and spent a lot of time together at the Campfire.  When the Patrols formed, we spent quality time together in the Wolverines Den too.
4. Worst date?   We've never had a bad date....I hope we never will.
5.  Most enjoyable date.  The Queen of Hearts Ball and the time we spent getting ready for it and riding in the limo with Madi and Raz and Gracie and Tubby.  It was a magical night.  We also had a pawsome time on Sammy's trip to the Moon.  It was Out of This World!!

Having a special friend is so wonderful.  Raz and Allie are both very thankful to have found such great and special ones.

Raz is also thankful to our pal Sammy from One Spoiled Cat.  Raz won a prize package.  Of course, we couldn't open it until Mom could do a photo op......

Look Mom.....it's got my name on it!!

Let me get this opened...

OMC it smells great and it has a little bell....I love bells.

There was even a nice present for Mom...

Well, I would have shown you everything but.....or should I say BUTT?

Thanks Sammy, I loved my present! Mom loved hers too.... It was Out Of This World :)

ManCat Monday

My girl Madi and I (doncha love the sound of that?) went to Arthur Murray's for dance lessons.  With the big Queen of Hearts ball coming up, I wanted to make sure I wouldn't step on her paws!!
We had lots of fun and all of the other dancers couldn't keep their eyes off us!  I think we make a pawsome couple, don't you?
