Today is also 4 years since our sweet Angel Ellie left us.  We sure miss that pretty girl.

Our 13th Blogoversary!!

We're glad you stopped by because today is our 13th Blogoversary

That's right....13 years of blogging. Our first blog post was on July 5, 2008. Click HERE to read our very first post!!! Pretty amazing, huh? Great graphics too....NOT! We've come a LONG way from that first post.  We actually blogged every day except for two weeks after our Daddy went to Heaven.  The support of our friends in the Blogosphere has been such a great help to us as we have gone through happy times and sad times especially in 2020 with the awful COVID.  We love you all!

Our first comment was from Kattonic Cats They don't blog anymore but their Mom is on FB. We hope she stops by today. In honor of our Blogoversary, we're doing a comment-a-thon. Mom will donate $1 for every comment (up to $50) to the Rescue or Shelter of YOUR choice! You can comment until Sunday, July 11 to enter!  Now....let's PARTY!!!

Welcome to Sparks. Many years ago, it was my intent to post an inspirational thought each Monday. It would be my weekly meditation, and perhaps feed other people's spirit as well. Life got busy, and this fell by the wayside. Now, I feel a strong need to bring this feature back. 
The negative energy in the world has become thick and oppressive. Social media has become a part of this dark, negative storm. There is an obvious universal need for more positive energy and peace. And, we can all be part of this affirmative change. 
I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!
