1. Why can’t we explore the Outside Zone? We’ve done the research, and it looks VERY sniffable and has in-purrson BirdTV  You do NOT want to go outside.  There are too many bad things that can happen to you plus, you will get lost and never be able to enjoy your nice house, toys and CHURUS!

2. Why can’t we redecorate the Couch with our Claw Art? It adds texture and emotional depth  Well, you already tried which is why I had to buy vertical scratchers to put on the sides.

3. What’s the deal with the Forbidden Counter? It has HEIGHT and therefore belongs to cats. Um, you DO go on the counters (yes, I know you do when I'm not looking)

4. Why don’t you adore the fine gifts we deliver? Lizard+ carpet fluff = masterpiece. ICK

5. Excuse us — is it Feeding Time now? Or five minutes from now? Or BOTH? MOL you KNOW breakfast is at 8:30 am and dinner varies.

6. How do humans operate with zero naps? That's not natural! I agree with you on this one.

7. Must you capture our every move with the Flash Machine? We’d never photograph YOU on the porcelain litterbox! (But we’ve considered it.) Because you are adorable and I am NOT.

8. What do you think the chances of us getting answers are?  See, I answered!!!

Today would have been our Mom and Dad's 24th Anniversary.  We share this post every year but we know some of our pals have never seen it.  We'll stay close to Mom today because we know she'll be sad.  They were lucky to have 17 beautiful years together.   Here are a few photos of them from their wedding day.

Boy were they a LOT younger in this picture!!!!  Auntie El was Mom's Matron of Honor and Daddy's friend Larry was his best man.

Oh yeah.....get all mushy on us......

Wordy Wednesday - The Answers

Created with Adobe Firefly

 1.  Noelle - Why doesn't Reesie like dry food?  I think it's YUMMY  I honestly don't know.  When she came to live with us her first Mom said she liked Rachel Ray food but she turned her nose up at every food we tried.

2. Reesie - Why does Noelle eat that icky dry food?  I prefer canned noms!   Noelle likes both...you should try it too since Noelle can snack whenever she wants to.

3. Both - Why don't you spend more time working on our blog and helping us visit our friends?  I apologize but sometimes "life" gets in the way.

4. Noelle - Why doesn't Reesie have a boyfriend like I do?  She's certainly pretty enough.  Yes she is!

5. Reesie - See above.  See above answer,

6. Periwinkle - Why can't there be more Tuesdays?  I love spending time with Stinky.  As Mom Janet told you yesterday.  It's a lot of work and if you visited more often it wouldn't be as special.

7. Noelle & Periwinkle - Why can't we figure out how to stop Sawyer's seizures?  We hate that he has them.  I sure wish we could.

8. Why don't all kitties and woofies have great homes like we do?  Some people are not responsible and don't spay or neuter which causes more kitties and woofies to be homeless.

9. Why can't we have treats more often?  Because you would weigh eleventy-billion pounds!

10. When can we do this again?  Next year!

Today, Raz is taking part in the February Challenge!

I want to thank all my pals who have been asking how I am doing.  I had my ultrasound last Thursday and they have no definitive results.  I could have IBD or I could have lymphoma.  My Mom chose not to do the invasive test for lymphoma.  We are treating me with steroids, Cerenia for nausea and vomiting and Mirataz for appetite.  They also gave me a B-12 shot and ran a blood test to check my B-12 levels.  My level was low so Mom is going to start giving me B-12 shots weekly.  MOL pray for her!! I am doing great and have not had a hork fest which makes Mom very happy.  One of my Cat Scouts friends has the same "diagnosis" and is doing very well two years later so I hope to follow her example!!!

We've got lots of words to share with you today!!

We wanted to tell you about a super book we just read.  It's by our pals Peaches and Paprika and their Mom Carol.  Back in May, we told you about their first book Our First Year In Connecticut.  Click HERE to read about it.

The new book is Peaches and Paprika: Winter Celebrations.  This book is another hit and would be a wonderful Christmas present for a cat-loving friend or for yourself.  The illustrations are absolutely adorable and really bring out Peaches and Paprika's personalities.  We even learned about a few holidays we knew nothing about.  Who knew about National Happy Day for Cats (wait, isn't that EVERY day?) or Faux Fur day.  Of course, the familiar ones like Meow-leen, Thanksgiving, Catmus, and Catukah are included!   You can join Peaches and Paprika while they pick out their Meow-leen costumes, hang out at the voting box and check out the Thanksgiving Turkey.

There's plenty more packed into this great book but we don't want to spoil it for you.  Click HERE to order your own copy from Amazon.  It's available on Kindle or paperback.

You can follow them on Facebook  and follow their fantastic YouTube slideshows and videos HERE.

We can't wait for their next book!!!

We were lucky enough to receive Fresh Step’s Febreze Freshness Gain Scented Clumping Clay Cat Litter from our pals at Chewy to test and review!

"Hey Noelle and Allie, hurry up....this is from Chewy.  You know there has to be something pawsome inside this box!"

"Let me get my paws on this!  What"  LITTER?  I was hoping it was TREATS!

Sorry Raz, litter is impawtent too!

From the Chewy site:
Description

Help kick bad odor to the curb with Fresh Step’s Febreze Freshness Gain Scented Clumping Clay Cat Litter! This formula is made with the power of Febreze Gain Original scent to help keep your cat’s litter box and your home smelling nice and fur-esh and contains activated charcoal to stop bacterial odor for up to 10 days. The Ammonia Block Technology helps combat some of the strongest odors from feces and urine while the paw-activated fragrance releases every time your cat steps in her litter box. This Fresh Step litter has a unique ClumpLock technology that helps absorb liquid, keep odors contained on contact and create tight clumps that are easy to scoop! Plus, it’s 99.9% dust-free to help keep surfaces clean and allowing you and your cat to breathe with ease.

Key Benefits
Clumping litter helps fight extreme odors with the power of Gain Original scent.
Specially formulated for some of the busiest litter boxes and features Ammonia Block Technology and activated charcoal that helps trap and eliminate urine odors.
Delivers up to 10 days of odor control with a paw-activated Gain fragrance.
99.9% dust-free litter helps keep surface cleaner and air clearer.
Helps keep your home smelling fresh with the power of Febreze.

Mom was super pleased when she poured the litter into our box.  It says 99.9% dust-free and that's the truth.  There was no dust at all.  Even when she scooped, no dust which made her very happy.  Because she is always cautious when changing litter, she only put it in one box and left the other with our regular litter.  She did not put the Fresh Step in the box that is more hidden that we tend to use more just to see how we liked it.  She was surprised to see that we used the Fresh Step more than the regular.  Maybe we're telling her that we like dust-free too!!

There was no unpleasant or perfume odor to the litter and it really did live up to the odor control promise.

If you are concerned about dust and odors, you really need to try this litter.  Click HERE to order some for yourself.  Don't forget, orders over $49 ship FREE and you can use Auto-ship to get your litter (and food, treats and toys) sent right to your door. No more lugging big bags of food or litter!!

Raz says, it might not be treats but ANY Chewy box is great!!

Thank you Chewy, we appreciated the opportunity to review this great litter.  As always, we were not compensated for this review but did receive the product free of charge for our honest review.

Today we wanted to share a really great book by our pals Peaches and Paprika.

The book tells the story of how they came to live with their Mom, Carol.  We received the book for a review and wanted to share how much we enjoyed Peaches and Paprika's book.  The story of how they came to live with their Mom has ups and downs and, even though we knew the outcome, a scary close call.  We don't want to tell you too much!  If you are a cat lover or even if you aren't you're going to love the book.  Lots of super photos too!

Click HERE to purchase the book on Amazon.  You can either download to your Kindle or purchase the paperback!!

We also want to wish SpaceX and NASA good luck with the first manned flight from the United States since July 2011.   Click HERE for a live link.  The weather might be a problem but we hope it's a GO and a safe launch!

World Kindness Day

Mom saw this on Facebook and we think it is purrfect for World Kindness Day!

Unlike yesterday, THIS post is about US like it should be!!  We had the opportunity to review Royal Canin Ultra Light Chunks in Gravy Adult Cat Food Pouches for our pals at Chewy.

From the Chewy site:

Indoor cats enjoy a life of leisure—whether they're spending their time napping, scratching, grooming or hiding out under the couch. Best of all, these easy-to-serve meals are packaged in single-serve packages in a savory gravy, so they're convenient for you and tasty for him! With high protein levels, this delectable dinner helps to support your cat's lean muscle mass, too, so he stays healthy and fit—no matter how laid-back his lifestyle is.Key Benefits

100% complete and balanced diet for adult cats.
Easy-open pouch is simple to serve and pairs purr-fectly with Royal Canin dry cat food.
Specially targeted blend of vitamins and minerals helps to support your kitty's overall health.

Once again, Mom wondered if we would slurp up the tasty gravy and leave the chunks.  We'll let you see how we did with that!  Mom gets such a kick out of watching us share.  She's weird like that.

We really liked the tasty food in the pouches and Mom loves the convenience of the pouches. Sometimes she has a hard time with the pop top cans.  Another 12 paws up from us!

You can order this dee-lish food HERE.   It's currently on sale or you can save even more by putting it on AutoShip!

We were not compensated for this review but did receive the product free of charge for our fair and honest review.
