The Adventures of Periwinkle and Stinky

Periwinkle woke up early to check the weather and make sure it was safe to travel in the Teleportation Tunnel since there had been lots of thunderstorms lately.  Fortunately, it was good so Stinky would have a smooth ride to her house and then a quick ride to where their Adventure was going to be.

Suddenly the Teleportation Tunnel started to shake and, with a WOOOSH, Stinky tumbled out into her waiting paws.  They spent a few minutes whisker kissing and hugging and then Periwinkle directed him back into the Tunnel.   When they popped out he thought they were back at Legoland.  "We had so much fun here, thanks for bringing me back," said Stinky.  Periwinkle agreed that they had fun but told him they were going to another area.  "We're going to visit Peppa Pig today," said Periwinkle who quickly took his paw and led him to the entrance.

As always, Periwinkle had done her research on the park. " Peppa Pig Theme Park is an immersive experience that places guests right in the world of Peppa, and her friends. In this fabulous standalone theme park, guests can enjoy six new rides designed especially for preschoolers, as well as lots of play spaces, shows, splash pads, additional attractions, and character meet and greets." She continued, "I know we're not preschoolers, but we're cats and small enough for the rides"  Stinky agreed that the rides were purrfect for them.

Periwinkle had a  map so they could find everything easily.

As soon as he said that the rides were purrfect, Stinky ran off and Periwinkle spotted him high up on Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride.   She rolled her eyes and laughed since he was at least in a safe place.

Periwinkle let out a shout of glee as she saw Peppa and ran up to her for a hug!

They enjoyed the splash pad and Periwinkle read from the guide: "Muddy Puddles Splash Pad – Have an oinktastic time with Peppa and George doing their favorite thing: jumping up and down in “muddy puddles!” This lively play area has spouting fountains, slides and other watery surprises to keep the play experiences super fun and splashy!" They giggled at the word "oinktastic" and headed onto the splash pad.

Stinky took a spin on Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Park
And the water slide...

Both tabbies were hungry so they headed to Miss Rabbit's Diner for a snack.

As often happens, they were impurressed by the selection of Temptations offered at the diner.

Periwinkle told Stinky that there is also a breakfast event in the Summer for the little humans, "available Fridays and Saturdays through August 5, Breakfast with Peppa is being held at the Peppa Pig Theme Park. The all-you-can-eat buffet includes plant-based overnight oats, eggs, fruit and pastries. There’s also an exclusive breakfast sandwich served on a freshly-baked baguette as well as a waffle and pancake bar.

Another offering is chicken-apple links since there aren’t any pork products at the meal. Got to respect the guest of honor."  Stinky agreed that it was thoughtful not to serve pork.

Not wanting to forget their Moms, they headed to the gift shop to find something to bring back.

They decided on small garden flags which would be easy to bring back in the Teleportation Tunnel...

It was time for them to head back to Periwinkle's house so they hopped back into the Teleportation Tunnel for the short trip to her house.  They snuggled and whisker kissed for a bit, visited with Periwinkle's fursibs and then it was time for Stinky to leave.  With a final whisker kiss, he got into the Tunnel and, with a WOOSH, headed home.

Periwinkle looked for her fursibs to see what they were up to while she was gone and started thinking about what she and Stinky could do next time.

Here's a short video to show you more about the Peppa Pig Theme Park.

That's an amazing trip you took. I don't think I'd like to get whips on a little concerned about the red water slide. Did you get your fiurs nice and dry?Precious

We had no idea that Peppa has her own theme park. We know the little kids really like Peppa. We thought it was cute in the video that the little kids were called tadpoles. That’s nice that they respect Peppa and do not serve pig 🐷 products to eat. Mom says that she wants to ride one of those dinosaurs. That definitely was a fun adventure. Lulu: "Ooh, I bet they make a great BLT at Peppa Pig land."
Java Bean: "BLT? Isn't that bacon? You think a pig-themed park would have good bacon?"
Lulu: "Seems on-brand, doesn't it?"
Java Bean: "Ayyy, yes it does. I'll see if I can get us tickets."
