Hug Your Cat Day And A Chewy Review

Today we're hugging Mom AND we have a Chewy review for you.

First Noelle.  Doesn't she look happy to be hugged????

Next, Raz.  Hug or is she choking me???

Now for the good stuff.  We were given the opportunity to review Fresh Step Clean Paws Calm litter for Chewy.

"Hey Noelle, it's from Chewy....there must be something lip-smacking good in there!"

"Huh?  Litter?"

"Noelle, not just any litter, it's Fresh Step Clean Paws Calm litter.  Notice it says "low tracking" and Mom is always on the lookout for litter that doesn't track all over the place."

From the Chewy site:

Description

Cleaning up after your cat is a breeze with Fresh Step Clean Paws Calm Low Tracking Rose & Chamomile Scented Clumping Cat Litter! Infused with a relaxing scent of rose, chamomile and natural hempseed oil, this low-tracking litter helps create a tranquil litter box experience for your feline friend. The active charcoal helps neutralize odors for up to 10 days, while the low-tracking particles are specifically engineered to help keep your purring pal’s paws clean, and your floors, too! This litter absorbs liquids and traps odors quickly, creating tight clumps for hassle-free pickup, with virtually no crumbles after scooping. And since it’s 99.9% dust free, it will help keep surfaces cleaner and the air in your home clearer! This litter is suitable for kitties from all life stages.

Key Benefits

• Formulated with a relaxing scent of rose, chamomile and natural hemp seed oil.
• Offers up to 10 days of odor control with activated charcoal, which helps neutralize odors, keeping your home smelling fur-esh.
• The cat litter particles are larger to help prevent litter from sticking to your sidekick’s paws and tracking throughout your home.
• 99.9% dust-free formula helps keep the air and surfaces cleaner. To refresh your litter box, simply add more litter.
• ClumpLock technology quickly absorbs liquid and forms tight clumps to reduce crumbles and make scooping a breeze!

We have to admit, Mom was a little concerned about the scent part of this.  We don't usually like litter with strong scents.  No worries here, the scent is light and pleasant.  BUT....would we use it?  We have two boxes side by side......Yes, this is the one with the Fresh Step Clean Paws.  We won't show you the INSIDE of the box but we can say that it was all good AND there was no mess when we got out.  The litter stayed in the box where it belongs and is very good at controlling odor.

We give this litter 8 (very clean) paws up!!!!  We're pretty calm kitties overall so we can't say if it had any effect on us as far as calming but the scent was nice and we liked it and it did NOT track all over!

Thanks to Chewy for the opportunity to review this product.  It's not something we would ordinarily purchase but would happily buy it now that we've seen how good it is.  Want to try it?  Click HERE to teleport over to the Chewy site to have it delivered right to your door.

As always, we were not compensated for our fair and honest review but did receive the product free of charge.

Now.....this is where you would normally expect to see a cool slideshow of us enjoying the product, right?  WELL...............Mom put the bag on the table after she took it out of the box.  She didn't think much about it until she saw THIS

The package was totally chewed through and the pouches inside were chewed up!

Look how yummy that looks coming out of the stix....too bad we ALL didn't get to try it.

The face of the suspect has been blurred (or Mom took a crummy photo) to protect his identity.

 Nope.....nobody here.....

So- no video but you can see that even sealed pouches INSIDE a sealed bag were too tempting for somekitty and were obviously VERY TASTY!  We ALL wish we could have tried it but at least we know that it was a super DEE-LISH product even if only Raz (oops..did we say that?) got to try it.

You can purchase some for yourself HERE!

We were not compensated for this review but did receive the product free of charge for our fair and honest review.  Um...for Raz's fair and honest review since the rest of us didn't get to try it!!!

Wordy Wednesday #ChewyInfluencer

Hi furriends, we're here with another review for our pals at Chewy!   Today we are reviewing Solid Gold Triple Layer Pate, Mousse and Shreds.  Because everything is PUMPKIN now, we chose the Turkey and Pumpkin flavor.  Mom wasn't sure how we would do with this because we do favor pate.  She wondered if we would just like the pate off and leave the rest.  Did we?   See for yourself....

As our slideshow shows, we really liked this a lot.  We ate every single morsel!!  Mom was going to smoosh it all together but we just dug right in and ate it until it was gone.  Raz, the gentleman that he is, took a chunk out of the plate and ate it on the side so the girls could eat undisturbed.  Yes, our videos are long but, as always, Mom LOVES watching us share our noms.

We did not receive compensation for this review but did receive the product free of charge for our fair and honest opinion.  That's another reason Mom likes the videos.....you can really SEE how much we liked it.

Beautiful and delicate and highly trained

They got there not without being pained.

A dream long gone

She'll never be the swan.

First, we wanted to mention that the box was pretty banged up on the outside when it arrived but Chewy had everything packed so nicely that nothing INSIDE was damaged!  YAY Chewy!!  The first thing we noticed about this food is that it has gravy but has a LOT of minced chick-hen.   Mom wasn't sure if we would lick off the gravy or go right for the chick-hen.  What do you think???

Poetic Thankful Thursday #ChewyInfluencer

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's letter is "" and the prompt words are....

(1) YESTERDAY (2) YUMMY (3) YELLOW (4) YEAR

Our poem is titled

YUMMY

We like our crunchies but stinky goodness is YUMMY

We love to put it in our TUMMY!

Other things are YUMMY too

Like chick-hen or beef stew.

Cook up some bacon

and we'll be awaken!

Don't try to tell us Kale is YUMMY

Our Mom didn't raise any DUMMIES!

Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

We're always THANKFUL when we get to share a product review for our pals at Chewy.  Today we have a totally different product and didn't do a slideshow because Mom isn't a good enough photographer to get the details in a still photo....much less a slideshow.  Today's product is Furminator's Shed Control Cloths.

From the Chewy site:

Description

FURminator Shed Control Cat Cloths are a convenient solution to removing loose surface hair and cleaning your pet’s coat. Three dimensional proprietary loop technology catches and keeps loose surface hair.
Key Benefits
3x thicker than traditional wipes for added durability
Reusable up to three times before disposing, helping to cut down on waste
Dual sided cloth, smooth side cleans, while rough side collects hairs
Safe to use on furniture and clothes
Helps reduce shedding up to 90% with a 10-20 minutes sessions once a week

Hey Allie....it's something to review from Chewy!  Hurry!

Huh?  This doesn't smell like any kind of treat to me......

Mom Sharon here......sorry Allie....this isn't a treat (but you'll get one after we finish our reivew!)

The Furminator Shed Control Cloths worked differently on Allie and Raz.  Allie doesn't shed as much, even though she has long hair.  I did get fur off Allie but you can't really see it on the towel.  Raz's furs show up better (but still hard to see) and I got more off him.  One thing that both experienced was a softer coat almost immediately.  This was our first time using the cloths and it says to use them 10-20 times a week to reduce shedding. Allie and Raz are looking forward to extra grooming sessions!

What I did get IMMEDIATE results from was using it on our vertical blinds since it said it is safe to use on furniture and clothes.  The regular sticky rollers don't do a very good job on our blinds.   Yes, this icky looking photo is of one of the slats.....

With NO effort at all, all of this fur came off!!

The fabric on the slat is fur free!

Thanks to our pals at Chewy for the opportunity to review this item.  We'll keep you posted on the results after we've used them for a while. As part of the   #chewyinfluencer program, we were not compensated for our fair and honest review but we did receive the product free of charge.
