 Seven years ago, at 1:32 pm our Daddy left us to go to Heaven.  That day our lives were forever changed and our hearts shattered into a million pieces.

Mom made a collage of photos of happier days. We share this every year but we know we have new friends who never saw it.  We had to add the one in the middle with the radar gun that Mom Pam from Two Spoiled Cats did for us a couple of years ago.  Daddy loved being a Satellite Beach Police Volunteer.  Other photos are of holidays, vacations, Guardian ad Litem and silly fun days.

IIt sure seems impossible that another year has gone by.  We miss him so much and still can't believe he is gone.  We know he's still with us in spirit but that's not the same as having him here with us for real. We know he was there to welcome Angel Allie but we're still heartbroken.  We hope he loves Reesie as much as we do.  When we lost Angel Ellie and Daddy was in the hospital, Mom promised we would get another Birman girl to love.  Reesie is that girl.

A Special Anniversary

Today would have been  Mom and Dad's 20th anniversary.  We're going to stay close to Mom today because we know she'll be sad.  They were lucky to have 17 beautiful years together.   Here are a few photos of them from their wedding day.

Boy were they a LOT younger in this picture!!!!  Auntie El was Mom's Matron of Honor and Daddy's friend Larry was his best man.

Oh yeah.....get all mushy on us......

Father's Day Sunday Selfies

Today is Father's Day which is a sad day for us since our Daddy is in Heaven.  We're sharing favorite selfies that Daddy took with Allie and Raz.  Noelle never knew Daddy but we know he sent her to us.

Happy Father's Day in Heaven to our Daddy and Happy Father's Day to all the other Daddies whether cat Daddies or human ones!

A Special Birthday in Heaven

Today our hearts are even heavier than they have been since our Daddy left for the Human Bridge.  Today would have been our Daddy's 80th birthday and we were planning on having a big celebration for him.  His celebration is in Heaven now and we are struggling with missing him here on earth. We know all our Angels, especially Angel Ellie, are celebrating with him.

Hi friends!   Bashful here!  I am having a lot of fun with The Florida Furkids.  They even let me hang out with their Turkey Friends! Even though I miss my own family,   I am looking forward to having Thanksgiving dinner with the Furkids and t heir Mom too!!

We're happy to say that the very famous BASHFUL is here to spend the holidays with us!! If you are not familiar with Bashful, he belongs to our pal Bacon from PigLove.   Here's a little info on Bashful from Bacon's blog:

 I also have a pet rock named Bashful. He knows a lot of tricks like stay, sit, be quiet and dad taught him how to play dead. Bashful is a happening pebble. He is definitely the “international rolling stone“.  He goes to all kinds of different places and stays with host families having adventures.  His first trip was to France and was amazing!  As Bashful has traveled, he has picked up a few friends of his own.  They now live with us as well at the Hotel Thompson.  Check back often because the rock friends are growing!  I hope you enjoy our blog!  Hogs and snout kisses – Bacon 

One of the first thing Bashful wanted to do was take a selfie.  He figured his family would like seeing that he made it here safe and sound.
