Sunday Selfies

These are old "Selfies" that you have seen before but today would have been  Mom and Dad's 22nd anniversary.  We're going to stay close to Mom today because we know she'll be sad.  They were lucky to have 17 beautiful years together.   Here are a few photos of them from their wedding day.

Boy were they a LOT younger in this picture!!!!  Auntie El was Mom's Matron of Honor and Daddy's friend Larry was his best man.

A Heavenly Birthday

  Today is our Daddy's birthday.  It's hard to believe it is the 5th one he's having in Heaven and we miss him a lot.  We know he's celebrating with all of our Angels especially Angel Ellie and Angel Allie.  Noelle and Reesie never knew him but we know they would love him and he would love them.  Tonight Santa comes on the fire truck.  We think that's a great way to celebrate Daddy's birthday since he loved this event in our little city.

Missing our Daddy - Four Years

Four years ago, at 1:32 pm our Daddy left us to go to Heaven.  That day our lives were forever changed and our hearts shattered into a million pieces.

Mom made a collage of photos of happier days. We share this every year but we know we have new friends who never saw it.  We had to add the one in the middle with the radar gun that Mom Pam from Two Spoiled Cats did for us a couple of years ago.  Daddy loved being a Satellite Beach Police Volunteer.  Other photos are of holidays, vacations, Guardian ad Litem and silly fun days.

It It sure seems impossible that another year has gone by.  We miss him so much and still can't believe he is gone.  We know he's still with us in spirit but that's not the same as having him here with us for real. We know he was there to welcome Angel Allie but we're still heartbroken.  We hope he loves Reesie as much as we do.  When we lost Angel Ellie and Daddy was in the hospital, Mom promised we would get another Birman girl to love.  Reesie is that girl.

A Special Anniversary

First, we're THANKFUL that our Mom  got up early to be first commenter on the Tuesday Teaser and won this pawsome badge!!

BUT...even BETTER....she got this pawsome badge for being 1st FIVE weeks in a ROW!  Whoo hoo....go Mom!!

We are THANKFUL for our safe and loving home, for our Mom, for our friends of all species and for TURKEY!

Of course, we will miss our Daddy today.  We sure wish he was here with us to share in our day.

I love you, my dear,

Thanks to the affection they've both shown

Our Daddy used to always say "I love you my dear" to Mom.  This photo reminded her of that.  She still says it to him and answers "I love you too."

Although she is sad and misses him terribly, Mom is THANKFUL for the love she and our Daddy had together.

Raz is THANKFUL for all the Gotcha wishes and purrs and prayers he got on Sunday.

Happy Birthday to our Mom

Today is our Mom's birthday.  We know she'll be sad today because it's her third one without our Daddy.  Daddy always made the day super special for her. We're going to be extra good and loving so she feels better.

Unconditional love is something special and we are THANKFUL to have had that in our lives.  Our Dad was a special guy and we miss him every day but know that is the price of having something special that not everybody gets in their lives.  Mom and Dad were lucky to have unconditional love.  Today is 17 months since he went to heaven.

Allie is THANKFUL for the unconditional love she and her sweet husband Mauricio have for each other.

We were surprised that our little Noelle sent this to Mauricio's brother Sawyer.  They are too young for real "dating" but they really like each other.  Aren't they adorable?
