Wonderful

Wonderful life, yes, that's me

Wonderful suits me to a "T"

T isn't our letter today

Next time that letter we will replay.

Wonderful Madi is my gal

Ask her to twerk and yes, she shall.

My wonderful gal makes life super

Her photos are purrfect...never a blooper!

Today is also Brian's Thankful Thursday. 

  Needless to say, I am thankful for my gal Madi.

Mom is writing today's poem which is called Viandra

Viandra

A beautiful girl, a bit of a tomboy

Always was sweet and full of joy.

She captured our hearts with her sweet face

To say she was special would not be off base.

You wonder who this mystery ladycat could be

She was someone you know, you see.

When I tell you her name, you'll know in a jiffy.

We're talking about our own Angel Sniffie!

For those who did not know Angel Sniffie, her "official" name was Viandra!

Tock-Tober Day and Poetry Day "S"

First we are starting with a fun,, annual celebration - Tock-Tober!  We always loved seeing Derby's photos and now his brofur Ducky is continuing the tradition!

Sammy's a tabby with extra toes

Clueless Greenies...we have a ton!

A great writer is Mom Pam

And she really loves her Sam

You'd never hear him say anything mean.

The King of Baconia, he rules with ease

When he asks for bacon, he always says please.

We love you Sammy, we're glad you're our friend

It's poetry day and the letter is R

Mom ponders what rhymes there are.

I nudge her arm, I call her now

She wonders what we'll write to wow.

I nudge again, like I'm a spaz....

Hey MOM....My name is RAZ

Raz is the name that starts with R

A faithful Cat Scout...that I are (?)

I have a gal, Madi's her name,

Yes, she's Madi of twerking fame.

My Patrol is Rumblers...that's an "R" too

We Rumble and Roar until we're blue.

Yes, "R" is a good letter to use

We hope our poem did you amuse!

Poetic Thursday "P" and a reminder

Today's letter is "P"

PURRFECT

We are very lucky kitties

Even though we aren't witty.

We have a home and that's the best

Toys and treats and places to rest.

Our Mom loves us all a lot

The purrfect home...that we've got!

Our Dad is cool and he's our buddy

He's silly too - not a fuddy duddy.

We wish every kitty had a nice home

and outside they did not roam.

Homes for all would be our wish

and lots of noms in every dish.

We hope you enjoyed our poem....now we're going to nap.

Tasty and Poetic Thursday! #chewyinfluencer

Because we had our memorial post for Angel Tamir on Tuesday, we are sharing our review of The Honest Kitchen Wishes  Treats today as part of the #chewyinfluencer group.

We put a slideshow together to show how much we loved the treats.   If you look at the very end of the video, you will see what Raz was doing while Ellie and Allie were nomming the treats.  He fell in love with the BOX and the wrapping.  We think the  delicious smell of the Haddock was still in the box!!   Don't worry, he got plenty of treats after the video!!

OUTSTANDING

Outstanding taste, these treats are swell

From the fresh fish taste to the yummy smell.

The treats we like can be crunchy,

Mom broke them up so we could munchy  (?)

Good if you have a sensitive tummy,

We'll ask for more.....we're not dummies.

Made from pure Haddock filet

Give us more Mom, that we pray.

We love our pals at Chewy

Even though this poem is screwy!

Thanks again to chewy.com for giving us the opportunity to try these great treats.  We really enjoyed them.  Mom did have to break them up into small pieces for us, but that didn't stop us from chowing down on them.

We were not paid for this review but we did receive the product fee of charge for our honest review.

Poetic Thursday "N" and Breaking News!

This week it's Mom's turn to write our poem......let's hope she doesn't embarrass us!

Night

All day long, The Florida Furkids snooze

when night falls, the house they cruise.

The treat box to the floor gets whapped

Cats are  awake....all day they napped!

Raz moves to the foot of the bed

Mom's legs are trapped under the spread.

Allie snoozes at Mom's side

She purrs away with loving pride.

Ellie wants Dad's pillow to share

He gets up and wham....she's there.

Raz makes biscuits in Mom's Neck

It sometimes hurt but he's cute as heck!

A restful night for some, not all

Allie, Ellie and  Raz all sprawl.

Mom could move us and get some rest

But we know she won't.....she's the BEST!

Excuse us now...........it's time for our nap.....

PETS IN POLITICS ~ Dateline: Homeland Security Headquarters, Washington, D.C.

Special Agents for the presidential campaign team have been called in to DC headquarters from all Feline Bureau of Investigation field offices for a high level strategy meeting prior to the first debate.  With only 54  days left until election day, everything must be organized and planned in detail.  The candidates travel schedules are going into high gear.  All Special Agents and their teams need to pick up the pace, working day and night to ensure that all safety and security measures are in place at all venues.

Supervisory Special Agent Dougie Dog also has a special event planned for the team today.  An unveiling, in the buildings lobby of this years campaign team official portrait honoring the Special Agents and their amazing service.  He is also taking the opportunity, over breakfast, to introduce the newest campaign team member ~ Ellie F.F. who arrived early this morning, straight from Quantico.

Ellie just graduated with the highest honors in her class ... and though you may think the F.F. is for Friends FurEver, her home base, it is her instructor's alias for her: Fearless Feline!  Ellie will be our Special Agent In Training during the rest of the campaign season, and will receive her official FBI badge after the election.

MOM

My Mom is special, I love her so

She loves me too....this I know.

How do I know you ask?

My every wish becomes her task.

She gives me treats

and tickles my feets.

I sleep with Mom every night

I like to keep her in my sight.

I make biscuits in her neck

and drool on her...what the heck?

She loves me a ton

I'm her loving son!

We wanted to mention that we had a few comments yesterday about getting the video to load.....there was no video...it was just a photo of Ellie.  Sorry if we confused you.

Joyful 

Full of Joy
Not about a toy.
We're Happy Furries
And very purry.
Just why you ask?
That's an easy task.
You know our Dad
bad cancer he HAD.
See the JOY?
We won't be coy,
Joyful we be
'cause he's cancer FREE!!!

Thanks to all for the purrs and prayers for our Dad.  He had his 2nd 3 month MRI and chest scan and yesterday they went to the doctor.   Dad is cancer FREE and doesn't have to go back for another 6 months!!!   YAY for Dad!!!

Poetic Inspiration is what I lack

Ode to HAM!

Ham is tasty

Ham's not pasty.

Our pal Sam

Turned us on to Ham.

Ham was a favorite of Angel Sniffie

She'd grab a piece in a jiffy.

A Hamwort  Angel Tamir was too

He would eat ham till he turned blue!

Nothing beats the taste of Ham

Better than any old clam

Take our word and try some Ham

You'll know for sure this poems' not a scam!

 Needless to say, we're THANKFUL for HAM!

Goofy Guy!

Goofy guy, yes that's me

I'm cute as a button as you can see.

I make Mom Laugh

Even though she's MY staff!

I sleep on my back and play in the sheets

She rubs my tummy and gives me treats.

I love my Mom and she loves me!

A luckier cat I couldn't be.

Today is also Thankful Thursday.  As you might remember, we had a comment-a-thon for our Blogoversary and our pal Timmy Tomcat  won.  Timmy picked Kitty Cottage for his donation.  We had 36 comments and upped the donation to $40 in his name!  Thanks to all who pawticipated!!!

Birthdays at the Bridge, Comment-a-thon winner, Poetic Thursday

Today would have been Angels Sniffie and Cory's 16th Birthday.  We miss them both very much.

As you may remember, Angel Sniffie loved HAM and potato chips.  Here's the video we post every year of her enjoying her birthday ham and chips.  Mom loves to listen to her crunching on the chips.


                              

Happy Birthday girls....we love you.
