The biggest THANKFUL for today is we're VERY Thankful that our sweet ManCat Raz joined our family 10 years ago!!  We'll let him tell the story...

Do you know that today is a special day for me? As you might have figured out - today is my 10th Gotcha Day!!   November 3, 2012, I was lucky enough to become a Florida Furkid.   Here's the first photo my Mom took of me.....Impurressive, right?  That's another one of my brothers in the cage with me.  Don't worry, both of them got adopted at the next event. What you probably don't know is that my other brother (the one you don't see) was the one Mom came to adopt.  He pooped in his PTU and had to be cleaned up.  I took advantage and won Mom's heart.  I guess PTU pooping runs in the family!  MOL

Raz's Gotcha Day!

Blog for Peace 2019 and a Thank You

We used the background of our own beach here in Satellite Beach for our Peace Globe this year.

Raz wants to thank everyone for the Gotcha Day wishes and for the "feeling better" wishes.  For those not on Facebook, Raz had another seizure at 11:15 Saturday night.  He is fine.  It was 3-1/2 months since his previous one.  He also wants to thank his pal Teddy for this great card.

Sunday Selfies - Raz's Gotcha Day and Blog Blast 4 Peace

We're pawticipating in The Cat on My Head's Sunday Selfies today.

Yesterday was my GOTCHA DAY!  Did you see a great post celebrating it?  NOPE.  Mom is a real SLACKER and got the date wrong.  Anyway, I get to show my very first selfie for our contribution to the Sunday Selfies blog hop.

First, I want to share the first photo Mom took of me. MOL  I really was trying to impurress her!!

I took this selfie in the cage before I was adopted.  That's my brother in the cage with me.  He got adopted too.

This is my first selfie as an official Florida Furkid!  I did this one n the car on the ride home!!  Am I looking like a cool dude or what?   I knew right away I had picked the purrfect forever home!

Wordy Wednesday with Raz

Well it sure has been an exciting week so far....My Gotcha Day, Blogblast for Peace and Allie and Mauricio's big announcement!

Now that things are settling down, I wanted to show you my Gotcha Day present!!!!

I was so excited when I saw that it was the airplane I wanted!!!

Amazingly, she DID get it together.  The only problem is, this is as close to it as I will get.  For some reason, I seem to have a fear of flying!!

Thanks Mom. It's cool looking but I'll stay over here.

Mom hopes that I'll get used to it and get in it soon.  I'll post pictures if when I do.

Happy Gotcha Day to Raz

Today is a very special day at our house!  It's Raz's first Gotcha Day!!! Over the last year, Raz has brought so much happiness to our family.  We love him a lot and we're really glad he became one of the Florida Furkids. Here's the first post we ever did about RAZ.

Monday Mews......

Hey Ellie....did you hear the mews????  Yes Allie I did......what do you think about it???  Shall we share the news with our friends?  Wait....let's let you-know-who tell it.............

Um....girls.....are you sure it's safe???  Okay....I'll  be brave....

I was sitting in my cage at the adoption event when I heard a very sweet Angelic voice call out to me.  It said "Hey Raz.....wake up!  See those people?  That lady is very sad because I had to leave for the Bridge.  She loved me a lot and really misses me.  I know you've had  rough start to your life.  I know you and your Mom and brothers and sisters lived in a trailer park.  The people were kind to you but didn't have many green papers and could hardly take care of themselves, much less you and your family.  You were rescued and ended up being fostered by the Space Coast Feline Network.  (you can see my Petfinder page HERE.)I want to make your life special like mine was.  Put on your cutest look....with my help, they'll fall for you and you'll have a cushy new forever home."  I didn't know what to do but I trusted the Angel kitty.  I looked up and right into their eyes....

I did my best to impress them...

What do you know?  To my surprise the lady came up to me and took me out of the cage.  She held me and snuggled with me.  She felt a little sad in her heart because she really misses the Angel kitty Tamir.  I didn't want to hope too much, but I snuggled into her neck and made her smile.

The next thing I knew the man went away and came back with a big PTU.  Ut oh.........what does this mean?  The lady was busy filling out papers and all of a sudden I was swooped up and put in the PTU. I was a bit scared but the lady sat next to me and said nice things about the life I was going to have and something about this being my Gotcha Day!

It was only a short ride, but I was relaxed and even snoozed a bit.  I had a good feeling about this!!!

So.....Let me introduce my self....I'm the newest of the Florida Furkids!  My official name is Razputin, but everyone calls me Raz (or Razzle Dazzle, or Raz-ma-taz or Razzy).  I'm just a little guy, even though I'm 6 months old.  I love to play and snuggle and get tummy rubs.  My new Mom says that Angel Tamir loved tummy rubs and underarm scritches.

Yesterday I even got to meet Auntie El.  She seems really nice too and Cousin Trooper said I could have the honor of asking for purrs and prayers for her lab work today.  I don't know what that means, but I said I would.
