Today is also Flashback Friday.  We're sharing a photo of our sweet Angel Cubby.   This was taken right after he had his bath.  He was always smiling!!

Wag and Wave for Forrest

Sweet Forrest from All Fur One and One Fur All made his trip over the Rainbow Bridge a couple of weeks ago.  Today we are celebrating Forrest's memory with Wag and Wave for Forrest Day.

This is a special day in our hearts too, it's one year ago today that our Angel Cubby left for the Bridge.  We're sure Angel Cubby was waving to Forrest when he got to the Bridge and that they ran off wagging their tails together.

We're sending healing purrs and prayers to Forrest's family.  We're also thinking about our sweet boy Angel Cubby.  Mom sometimes hears him and Angel Clifford barking when she pulls her car into the garage.  She knows it's them saying hi to her from the Bridge.

Sunday Selfies

Here's a selfie Angel Cubby took when we were getting ready for our Christmas Card photo shoot last year.  It's a little blurry because he used Mom's cell phone.  It made us laugh because his tongue is touching his nose!!  We miss him a lot.

Mom was looking at some photos in Dropbox and saw this selfie that Angel Cubby took the day he went for his shots.  He was such a happy woofie.

Thankful Thursday.....home again

Our boy Angel Cubby is back home.

Included with his urn was a card from the staff at the ER vet as well as a card with Cubby's pawprint....

and a lock of his fur (which Mom was so upset she didn't think to get)

We also received this beautiful poem from our own VET  (biggify to read)

We're thankful to the Staff at the Animal Specialty and Emergency Hospital staff as well as our wonderful friends at our regular VET Seaside Veterinary Clinic for their kind words and thoughtfulness at this sad time.  We miss Cubby a lot and having him back with us helps a lot.  Mom found Allie sleeping on the table next to the urn the day he came back.

As Mom was taking some of the photos off her phone (like the Sunday Selfie one we posted), she
also came across this photo of Angel Cubby in his purple bed.  This is the last photo she got to take of him.

Sunday Selfies - A Surprise selfie

We're pawticipating in  The Cat on My Head's Sunday Selfies today.

A couple of weeks ago Angel Cubby took a bunch of selfies when he was in Mom's car going for his shots.  At some point he must have selected one of the artistic photo apps.  Mom was really surprised when she saw this photo (we didn't do anything to this...it's just how it came off her phone)

Mom got all leaky eyed when she saw it.  Angel Cubby was really very good at taking selfies.  We miss him a LOT.

Thankful Thursday

I want to thank everyone who came to my birthday party and to everyone who left wonderful, compassionate comments  for us about Angel Cubby.  Mom's having a really hard time with his leaving and the love of the Cat Blogosphere helps to ease the pain.  Ellie, Allie and I are doing our best to help Mom through this.  We all miss Cubby a lot too.  Mom says the house is way too quiet now.

I'm also thankful that I got to try something special on my birthday - BACON!  I've heard that it's wonderful and my pal Sammy has bacon every Saturday.  I FINALLY got to try it for myself!!!
