Friday Friends - Our new adopted VSquillions

Did you know that the VSquillion Shelter is now open again?  Sweet Gracie (who works really hard at the shelter as well as running the Tabby Cat Club) has Rainbow vSquillions available for adoption now!

We now are the proud adopters of Angel Sniffie and Angel Tamir vSquillions.

We love our new VSquillions.  Did you know that February 28th is VSquillion day?  We'll be celebrating with all of our VSquillions on that day!!   If you haven't adopted one yet, this is the time to!

Mom's been noticing the girls washing and licking Raz's ears (with the occasional light nibble).  She remembers how Sniffie used to clean Tamir's ears.

Sniffie was sweet and gentle....

Even their smackdown was gentle.

We'll bet Tamir has the cleanest ears at the Bridge.

A few years ago Dad bought this cute photo ornament for Mom.  She put this picture of Sniffie and Tamir kissing in it.  We hope they are decorating the tree at the Bridge together.  We miss them a lot.

Happy Birthday to our Mom

Happy Birthday to our Mom.  She's a squillion years old today.  We know that Angels Sniffie and Tamir are sending her greetings from the Bridge too.

Remembering good times.....  This was taken on Sniffie's birthday a few years ago.  That's Auntie El's HAND feeding us all HAM!!  We think Angel Tamir was such a nice Gentle ManCat...he let Sniffie, Ellie and Allie eat first!!

The Feast of St Francis

Hi effurybuddy......Today is the Feast of St Francis of Assisi.  St Francis is the patron saint of animals.  Mom and Dad  will be packing up Ellie and Allie and taking them to Church to be Blessed. You can read more about St Francis HERE.


We're pretty sad because we used to go with Sniffie and Tamir....now it's just the two of us.  The woofies don't go because they make too much woofie noise!  They get their blessings through us.

UPDATE:


Okay....Maybe we're not going.....last night Allie started meowing a lot and being really restless.  Mom went to choir practice and came home and Allie was pawing at the bedspread....and when
Mom came back in Allie left a GIANT puddle on the bed.  Mom figures it's a UTI or anxiety.  A VET visit is planned for today.

We LiveStrong today

Today we turn our blog yellow to join our pals throughout the blogosphere who are participating in the 3rd annual LiveStrong Day.  Our Pals Milo and Alfie and the Zoolatry girls first posted about this day and you can read more about it HERE.  We've seen way too much cancer over the last year and we are purring and praying for a world without cancer.

We celebrate Auntie El who has been through a rough time in the last year.  Auntie El has just started chemo again in her fight against this terrible disease.  We're purring and praying that the treatments go well and that she is healthy and strong again soon.   Auntie El LivesStrong every day!  She had Chemo yesterday and did well....now we purr and pray that her blood levels stay good and that she doesn't end up in the hospital again.

On September 21, 2010  we lost our sweet sisfur Sniffie to cancer.  We miss her very much and hope that she and our pal Sweet Praline and Little Beignet (who also went to the Bridge because of cancer) and our furriends  Parker Pie  and  sweet Sadie from Beaded Tail are having a good time together at the Bridge.  Poppy Vic from Zoolatry also was taken from us by cancer.  We purr and pray every day for the Zoolatry family at this sad time.

Flashback Femme Friday - Sniffie

We're not sure why Tamir picked yesterday to leave for the Bridge, but we think maybe he wanted to be with Sniffie for her second anniversary there.  We had this post planned before he left and we think he would have still wanted us to post this.  Many thanks to all of you who have left comments and Facebook messages.  Mom will do her best to get around to thank each of you personally.  She's way too teary right now to do much.

It's really hard to believe that our sweet Sniffie left us two years ago today.  We miss her so much and  think of her all the time.  Sniffie was such a special girl and she took a huge chunk of our hearts with us when she left for the Bridge.


Here is the slideshow that Mom did last year showing lots of great photos of Sniffie.  We think that it really captures her spirit. It's a bit long (around 10 minutes) but we hope you enjoy it.

Sniffie, we love you with all our hearts.  Show your big brofur Tamir around the Bridge and know that we will all be together some day.
